Kathleen Dreier is a versatile portrait/event photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. Kathleen whole-heartedly serves clients from all communities, fostering an inclusive environment where every person’s unique stories and experiences are honored. Since 2006, Kathleen has specialized in and is known for capturing candid moments, documenting authentic emotions and genuine interactions. Kathleen’s intention is to seamlessly navigate both private and public spaces, preserving moments with a unique blend of artistry and storytelling.
Her portfolio includes a wide range of client work and personal projects, from short and long-term assignments to select donated services. Kathleen’s clients include individuals, families, small businesses, non-profits, and corporations. With a 3-decade professional social work career, Kathleen possesses an understanding of human dynamics, enabling her to establish quick rapport and connect with individuals from various walks of life. Kathleen’s ongoing personal project is a social change portrait series titled “Voices of Race,” utilizing photography as a powerful tool to shed light on important societal issues and promote compassion and understanding among all people. Since March of 2020 she has taken the portraits and shared the stories of nearly 250 people on her various platforms. Kathleen is known in various social justice circles and called upon as a trustworthy ally who shares her images to advance causes affecting marginalized communities.
Kathleen is dedicated to unpacking her white privilege, ongoingly learning the truth of our country’s colonial history, and practicing daily to being a better human being. She has served as the Media Circle Director of the All Souls Procession since 2019 and has a side business as a custom perfumer, creating one-of-a-kind fragrance blends for individuals, couples, and businesses. Originally from Wisconsin, Kathleen has lived in California, Alaska, and Colorado, making Arizona her home since 2004.
