Patrons
Our goal is to be around in 100 years. To get there, we’re embarking on a bold new journey.
CreativeMornings has grown from a humble breakfast lecture series into the world’s largest volunteer-led, face-to-face creative community.
For over 16 years, CreativeMornings has been a safe harbor for dreamers, doers, and makers. It is where creatives, entrepreneurs, and innovators find common ground and learn from one another—a place to be heard, seen, and supported.
Our global ecosystem is powered by goodwill, a collective heartbeat that pulses through 244 cities in 70 countries. Every month, thousands of heart-forward humans meet at our chapter events, FieldTrips, or Clubs united by a shared belief in each other’s potential.
As a charitable organization, we work under a fiscal sponsor* to provide programs and opportunities at no cost to creative communities around the world.
Reimagining What It Means to Grow
The way we’ve always approached community-building is by putting people and purpose first.
Until recently, CreativeMornings has relied solely on volunteerism, passion, community and corporate partnerships to propel us forward. And it has taken us very far.
Now, for the first time in our history, we are able to receive tax-deductible contributions* from supporters of all stripes, including family foundations and individual patrons who believe in the magic of what we do.
An Invitation
CreativeMornings has always been an opt-in space rooted in the shared belief that creativity and optimism are powerful, enduring tools for transformation. This new phase of giving invites us to reflect on the balance of give-and-take within our community—a personal setpoint unique to each of us.
Our generosity-based model is an invitation to tune into your own comfort point between receiving and contributing. This isn’t about shame or obligation; only you know when it feels right to give back to this generous ecosystem of heart-centered humans. Whether it’s leading a FieldTrip, volunteering at a chapter event, hosting a Club, or supporting CreativeMornings financially, this is an opportunity for us to practice being in balance as a collective.
Your gift, whatever form it takes, isn’t just for us; it fuels a movement that believes in the power of creativity to shape lives and shift cultures. Consider this a gentle invitation to align your values with your capacity to give back.
Please email us at [email protected] to let us know how you might like to support us in this effort.
A New Kind of Giving (emphasis on kind)
At CreativeMornings, we believe that generosity comes in many forms, each as valuable as the next. As we embark on this new chapter of growth, redefining what it means to give, we continue to embrace contributions of time, talent, and resources with equal enthusiasm.
Our ask is simple: participate. In CreativeMornings and beyond, ask yourself, ‘How am I actively contributing to the things I love?’
Patron Spotlight
In early 2024, CreativeMornings received a groundbreaking $1 million grant from the Harnisch Foundation, led by Ruth Ann Harnisch, former journalist, visionary philanthropist, and champion of radical generosity.
This historic $1 million grant will allow CreativeMornings to nurture its ever-evolving network of chapters and fuel our newly-launched engine for friendship and connection: Clubs, community-led, hyper-local, intimate gatherings around a shared theme.
The funds will be used to amplify the voices of those who’ve been overlooked, to widen the circle of creatives around the globe who can access our free programs, and to build bridges of empathy and kindness between people from all walks of life.
As we stand on the cusp of this exciting moment, we extend our deepest gratitude to Ruth Ann Harnisch and The Harnisch Foundation for believing in our vision.
* When you make a financial gift to CreativeMornings, you will receive a tax-deductible receipt from our new fiscal sponsor, Philanthropic Ventures Foundation. PVF was founded in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity to test new approaches to creative grantmaking and to maximize the impact of the philanthropic dollar. Only gifts made in the U.S. can be considered charitable donations at this time.
